Watermelon!

Since we ended up with a completely tasteless watermelon, I let them indulge. Harmless, right?

It's been a beautiful spring!

 Currently, he thinks he is "Puss in Boots." We watched it 3 times in the two days we rented it. Sad, I know.

 The boys are very proud of the garden. We've never had it be this beautiful.

And the zucchini and squash were super yummy - grilled to perfection. Beans were great boiled, buttered, and seasoned. I haven't touched the hot banana pepper in the fridge yet. Not sure what to do with it...more peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes to come!

It runs in the family

 I've been told that I used to eat butter as a little girl. I think my cousin Cassie caught me in the cupboard with a stick of butter in my hands...at least that's what I've heard. True Cass?

Easter Weekend

 Last minute family outing to the local pond.

 Mom didn't bring any snacks, so the boys ate our fish bait....cold hot dogs.

Quick Trip

We took the weekend and drove to KS to attend the Kansas City Temple open house. (Now let me explain...we spent most of our time in Kansas with Chris's parents. The temple is actually in Kansas City, Missouri. For those who didn't know... :)  )
