Do you know what your thyroid does for your body? Neither did I...until two days ago when I was told over the phone, "You have papillary thyroid cancer."
*If you have any questions, google it - there is lots of info. And if you want to talk - let's e-mail instead. Then if I happen to be emotional (I mean come on, I'm 6 weeks postpartum - I still have those hormones to deal with.) you won't hear my voice crack.
But you know what - I'm counting my blessings that it is what it is - because it could be worse.

***Little Miss was in a hurry to get here. I will spare you all the details, but I was at Kroger & Sprouts at 9:30 am. I was holding my new baby girl at 5:30 pm. There was literally NO time for the epidural (by the time I asked for it). We are thrilled to have a princess in the house. Her brothers love her to pieces! Believe me, there will be more pictures.
