We went to Galveston for the weekend. It was a great family vacation.
Eli was so excited to go to the beach. We had to make a count-down so he would stop asking me 6 times a day!
We all got pretty burnt the first day, even though we packed on the sunscreen.
our last morning on the beach...the tide was still in and there was lots of new seaweed.
eli informed chris that the beach misses him...i guess we'll have to go back. :)
Happy Father's Day! We went to the Galveston Ward (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) Sunday morning. I was surprised at how large of a ward it was.
Sunday afternoon we rode the ferry to a very pretty beach and had a wonderful day there. And guess where my camera was? On the table in the Hotel. Dang.****
We went to a fun confectionery place. Talk about a kid in the candy store.

FYI on the pics: the order is reversed from how you upload, and if you do more than 1 "set," the new set will be reversed as well. Sometimes it takes me a ridiculous amount of time to get it right! :)

What a fun vacation! Galveston is a neat place. We enjoyed it last summer. What a fun idea to go to the ward there but do NOT get ANY ideas (haha). We missed y'all on Father's Day but glad you had a good time!!

We went to Galveston a couple of summers with the kids and loved it! We miss it there. We'll have to find one close by here. Hugs to y'all!
